My name is Anna and I'm originally from Brazil, living in rainy Providence in the United States. I've been a doll collector for seven years now, after spending a whole childhood playing with them and finding out about asian ball-jointed dolls. Being absolutely smitten with them, they inspired me to go forward with some of my personal projects and have them as palpable characters.
I am a graduating senior at Brown University double majoring in Visual Arts and History of Art and Architecture, with some courses at the São Paulo Architecture School FAUUSP and an art course in Humboldt Universität, Germany. Currently working in a Photography Lab, in an independent project and in a project with friends, all between classes, projects, papers and job applying, I'm seeking to establish myself in the concept art field as creator and illustrator with photography and doll collecting to fill in my free time.
Hopefully, with some more practice, I also plan on getting face-up commissions for both BJDs, Monster High and Pullip dolls as I love handling and playing with them so much and dream on being able to customize my own with my own two hands.
Other than that, I love staying in a peaceful place, taking some time alone or with very few good friends, see and learn new things, getting stuff done, read and write, morals, gentleness. What I don't like is selfishness, self-victimization out of one's own choice, falseness, prepotence and everything that makes people care only about themselves and require the world to turn around them. Oh, and crowded, dirty and noisy places in the middle of big cities, as well as people who believe to be superior because they make themselves 'different'.
